About

Current trail infrastructure existing at the Spotted Eagle Recreation includes two connecting loops referred to as Loop A and Loop B. Both trails are made of dirt/trail track and see enough use to maintain walking and biking activity. Loop A is southeast of Loop B and follows along the bank of Spotted Eagle Lake. On the easternmost side, the trail connects with a sand beach of the lake with a set of connected loops, rearing the beach, weaving in and out of covering vegetation. Loop B, located on the west side of the recreation area, circles a grassy park area and contains a connecting cut-across trail as well as a path that leads to the nearby Tongue river. Loop A can be seen on the map in red while Loop B is represented by yellow. Suggested additions to complete the Spotted Eagle Recreation Area trail system are seen in purple. Notable measurements of the trails include: • Loop A Total 1.2 mi • Loop A Following Bank 0.65 mi • Loop B Total 0.9 mi • Loop B path to river 0.08 mi
