About

The fairgrounds trail follows a paved path along Main Street until reaching the Miles City Field Office at which it heads east and circles the fairgrounds. This path continues to follow Pacific Ave crossing the Tongue river. Following the dirt road on the dike, the trail proceeds to cut through Riverside park and loop around Scanlan Lake meeting up with its starting location. An alternate route can be taken by not cutting through Riverside park but continuing to follow Pacific Ave, eventually meeting with S 5th St in which the sidewalk bordering the park can be taken to the starting location. The yellow path represents the riverside walk which borders the fairgrounds and is made of a gravel path/dirt path as seen in the bottom picture. Measurements of the Fairgrounds/Riverside Walk include: Red Path 1.9 mi Blue Path 0.6 mi Yellow Path 0.4 mi Loop w/ Blue Path 2 mi
