Woodruff Recreational Area (Woodruff Park). Located approximately mile marker 16.3 on Highway 12, toward Baker. Enjoy this woodland, provided for your pleasure by the residents of Custer County in memory of Claude Woodruff, County Commissioner who pioneered this park as but one chapter in 20 years of unselfish service to Custer County. The land was made available by the Bureau of Land Management. You must provide the care, the laughter, the joy and memories to make this a living memorial to be shared by all.
